About DBR
Note: This site contains nudity and what some might consider pornography. If nudity offends you, if you are under the age of 18, or if pornography is illegal where you live, then you must leave this site NOW.
Back in 2010, I began VirtuaGirlReview.com, a review site for VirtuaGirlHD by Totem Entertainment. I started that as an independent review site to give my personal assessment of the girls appearing on VGHD. That site has become a big success with a regular following of readers, steady requests from the same, and a growing amount of search engine traffic and recognition. That site contains over 300 reviews now and growing by 3-5 more reviews weekly.
One thing I noticed, however, was that there is a real disparity in both how Totem treats the links and advertising for DeskBabes, their newest product, versus how they treat VirtuaGirlHD. VirtuaGirlReview is hosted on a server based in the U.S. that does not allow nudity or pornography. That was not a problem with just VGHD reviews, since they are classic Playboy-style striptease anyway and generally more than half the photos included with every model download are fully clothed.
Once I started including DeskBabes reviews, however, things got a little more dicey. I began having to edit photos to take out nude bits and couldn’t use DeskBabes advertising at all. DeskBabes is a decidedly more hardcore version of striptease and performance and thus would not be contained on a no-nudity server for long.
So I decided to begin this site, DeskBabesReview.com.
Below is how the rating system here at DBR works – it is the same as the VGR system:
I’ll use the same 1-10 they use on DeskBabes (without the decimals) and I’ll give my honest, no-holds-barred opinion of the show. For every girl I rate, I own the card for and have watched her show. I won’t review girls for whom I’ve only seen the trailer. To prove this, most of the pics I’ll use with the reviews will come from the expanded pictures you get when you purchase the card.
With all of that said, while this site does have nudity, it is not about pornography. I will also avoid violating any copyrights at DeskBabes/Totem as well. So if you’re just looking for free porn, you won’t likely find much of what you want here – there are plenty of other sources for it. This site is about reviewing the performances of the women featured on DeskBabes and that will be our focus.
Finally, if you don’t know what DeskBabes is, you are definitely missing out. It’s an awesome desktop application that you install for free. Then you can peruse their huge list of girls and dance cards and download virtual strippers and lesbians to your desktop. Each card has between 20 and 50 minutes of video dancing that plays right on your desktop. You have to try it to really understand. The little animation likely playing on the bottom-right of your screen is a sample of how this sort of works (think longer clips and larger sizes).
You can get DeskBabes by clicking on any of the ads on this site (hey, I have bills to pay too) including the fold-down at the top-right corner. If you download it and play the free trailer cards (just short clips to show you how it works) and don’t like it, uninstall and forget it. If you decide to buy cards or a subscription, I get a little reward for referring you.
This site and all of my reviews are free for your access and perusal. They are not to be re-printed or re-used on any other site without my permission with one exception: you can copy any of my review posts, but you must give full attribution back to me (as in “courtesy of DeskBabesReview.com” linked to http://www.DeskBabesReview.com).
Finally, this site is not affiliated with DeskBabes, VirtuaGirlHD, Totem Entertainment, or in any way endorsed or attached to them. It is a free and independent site about their entertainment package. All desktop dancer images and trademarks are the property of Totem Entertainment or their respective owners.
Thanks and I hope you enjoy this site! Come back often, subscribe to the RSS, etc, etc.
